AMATS Website

Planning for the Akron Metro Area

AMATS was caught in a time warp—firmly rooted in the 20th century. It wasn’t just a question of aesthetics, but functionality and accessibility too.

Look no further than their domain name:

AMATS was nearly invisible to the public they serve.

We focused on developing an accessible website built to bridge the gap between AMATS and the public.

We rebranded AMATS, built them a new website tailored to their needs, and procured they new domain name: amatsplanning.org

amatsplanning.org

The TIP report, an annual 200-page document that includes all federally funded projects, lacked accessibility.

We developed an interactive TIP Report, allowing easy updates to data and a user-friendly interface.

Each of hundreds of funded projects can be viewed individually. Users can sort and filter to find the projects they care about.

Even with the Interactive TIP, the public still needs access to hundreds of documents.

Now they can browse, filter, and sort those too.

Users can filter documents quickly by category, as well search from within the file name, all on one page.
